Trailer mechanic & Cargo Tank Insepctor

We are currently searching for DOT registered inspector mechanics!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pay Range: $24.00 to $38.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• DOT Registered Inspector with HM-183 certification and ability to effectively and efficiently inspect ISO tanks and tank trailers to align with DOT standards (Preferred)
• Experience with ABS
• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• MIG/TIG welding experience

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
