We are looking to hire an ISO Chassis Mechanic to maintain trailer chassis by installing and repairing brakes, suspension parts, pneumatic and hydraulic system parts. This colleague must be a certified welder.

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, start between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, 8 hour shift

This position is for our Channelview, TX branch at 16230 DeZavala Road.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $37.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair frames and metal truck trailers
• Modify and reconstruct chassis
• Installing electric wiring for dome lights and tailgates
• Fitting and assembling components
• Use hand tools and portable power tools
• Weld (Certification required) as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be a Certified Welder (Certification must be shown upon time welding test is given)
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience as a Chassis/Trailer Mechanic
• Possess strong communication skills
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to effectively prioritize work
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• High school diploma or GED
