We are currently searching for a Truck & Chassis Mechanic for our Chesapeake,VA location!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm or 8:00am- 5:00pm

Pay Range: $28.00 to $45.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a diesel tractor / truck / semi.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
• Experience with oil changes, preventative maintenance, starters, wheel seals, and all bolt on components.
• Welding experience is a plus for pump and compressor installations, but not a must (optional)
• Experience working on heavy equipment such as Lift, forklifts, bobcats, and any other yard equipment as necessary.

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
