Role Overview:

The purpose of the Hydroblaster role is to ensure the cleanliness and operational efficiency of industrial equipment and surfaces by using high-pressure water systems. This position plays a vital role in maintaining safety standards and compliance with environmental regulations. Hydroblasters are responsible for performing meticulous cleaning tasks, conducting equipment checks, and collaborating with team members to achieve optimal results. Their work ensures that machinery and facilities are kept in peak condition, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of the workplace.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operate high-pressure water equipment to clean surfaces and machinery.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on hydroblasting equipment.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during all hydroblasting activities.
  • Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure cleanliness and integrity.
  • Document and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
  • Coordinate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Adhere to environmental regulations regarding waste disposal.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of hydroblasting equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in operating high-pressure water systems.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks.
  • Attention to detail in cleaning and inspection processes.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating high-pressure water equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks.
  • Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in hydroblasting or related field (preferred).
