Trailer Mechanic W/CDL Class-A License

We are currently searching for a trailer mechanic with 2+ years of mechanical and/or tank trailer repair experience, and a CDL Class-A Driver license for our Charlotte, NC location!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, occasional overtime

Pay Range: $19.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

(Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Must have a CDL-Class A license
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
