Payroll Administrator

At DCI, we recognize the crucial role of a detailed Payroll Administrator. This position is responsible for administering accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing for multiple North American companies. We are seeking a very detail-oriented person with strong communication, customer service, time management, teamwork, and organization skills. All payrolls and payroll-related tasks must be managed in compliance with company policy and US federal,state, and local laws. Your contribution as a Payroll Coordinator is vital to ouroperations,and we value your potential to make a significant impact.


Work Week Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Eastern, M-F

Hybrid - 3 days (Tues, Wed, Thurs) in the Tampa Channelside office


Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support, including mail handling, filing, categorization, and distribution.
  • Responsible for collecting, reviewing, and analyzing payroll information to effectively administer involuntary deductions from pay, including child support, state and federal tax levies, and other similar deductions.
  • Liaison for the payroll tax team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll tax compliance
  • Monitor the payroll team email inbox daily to respond promptly and accurately to employees' and colleagues' inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with employees and managers regarding payroll-related topics that may occur during payroll processing or payroll-related tasks
  • Maintain payroll information, files, and records for compliance
  • Serve as a backup for payroll processing on an as-needed basis for our weekly and bi-weekly payroll across multiple states, adhering to strict and time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Performs other related duties or projects as assigned by the payroll management team

Education and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Proven Experience with Garnishments, Liens, Tax levies and Payroll Tax preferred
  • File Clerk and/or administrative assistant experience a plus

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities (Competencies):

  • Strong customer service, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change, prioritize and organize workload to meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Must be knowledgeable in payroll processing
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Suites (Google Sheets)
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
